Condenser Of Low Pressure Water Chiller
Condenser is the heat removal component of the system. The condensers adopted in the low pressure water chiller are all water-cooled condensers. In certain process of production, it is sometimes necessary to recycle the heat for other applications.
As condenser is the heat removal component of the system, the heat discharge capacity determines the exhaust pressure of the refrigeration system. The condenser of the low pressure water chiller is usually set above the evaporator. The refrigerant is lifted to the level of the condenser by the compressor in steam mode. After the refrigerant condenses into a liquid in the condenser, it flows into the evaporator by means of gravity in a very small pressure differential state.
Water-cooled condensers also have colds lines. The function of the cold lines is to reduce the temperature of liquid refrigerant to below the condensing temperature. The method is that to set an independent liquid storage chamber at the bottom of the condenser and absorb heat from the liquid refrigerant which is 105℉ after condensing by condensed water inlet. In this case, the whole system will achieve higher efficiency.
