Introduction To The Composition And Structure Of Chromatography Cabinet

1.Refrigeration System

   Standard refrigeration system consists of compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, solenoid valve and so on.

   Connect these equipment in turn by pipes to form a closed system. As the system works, the compressor draws low temperature and low pressure refrigerant vapors produced by evaporator into the cylinder. After compressed by compressor, when the pressure rises (the temperature also rises) to a little greater than the pressure in the co0ndenser, discharge the high-pressure refrigeration steam in the cylinder into the condenser. (So the compressor has the function of compressing and conveying refrigerant.) In condenser, refrigeration steam at high temperature and high pressure is heat exchanged with lower temperature air (or constant water) to condense into liquid refrigerant. At this time, the liquid refrigerant is injected into the evaporator after being cooled by an expansion valve (reduced pressure), and is vaporized after absorbing the heat of the cooled object in the evaporator. Thus, the cooled object is cooled, and refrigerant vapor is sucked away by the compressor. So in the refrigeration system, after four processes: compression, condensation, expansion and evaporation, a cycle is completed.

 

2.Temperature Control System

   The core component of the temperature control system is the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor automatically samples and monitors the ambient temperature. When the ambient temperature is higher than the control set value, the control circuit starts and the control backlash can be set. If the temperature is still rising, when it rises to set limit alarm temperature point, overrun alarm function will start. When the controlled temperature can not be effectively controlled, in order to prevent damage to the equipment, you can also stop the device from running by tripping.

   The temperature control system is the most important hardware in the chromatography cabinet, mainly depends on the sensitivity, quantity and distribution of sensors, temperature control performance should be concerned about. Generally speaking, temperature control range, temperature control accuracy and other parameters are determined by temperature controller, and does not have much to do with chromatography cabinet. The temperature range controlled by some temperature control system is very wide, but in fact the temperature control is determined by the refrigeration system of the chromatography cabinet itself. Temperature control uniformity also needs to be combined with chromatography cabinet to have a good effect.

 

3.Air Duct Design

   The air duct design inside the chromatography cabinet is the most easily neglected part of the manufacturer. Whether the air duct design is reasonable or not will directly affect the the temperature stability and uniformity of the chromatography cabiner and the overall use effect. The interior design of the chromatography cabinet should take into account the specific gravity different of the cold air and hot air. Using active air supply of fan to form an active and uniform air flow in the whole cabinet body. There is also a need to consider whether a short air cycle will be formed, the influence of air flow to the cabinet should be minimized when opening the door, the design of air supply capacity of fan and other factors.

 

4.Chromatography Cabinet Parts

   Multifunction chromatography cabinet generally can take into account the needs of drug storage in the case of meeting the requirements of chromatography experiments, so as to improve the efficiency of chromatography cabinet. Therefore, the column and clamp for fixing chromatography column should be equipped first. Secondly, it is necessary to configure the shelf for placing the instrument. In addition, the internal power supply should be configured, generally should be waterproof and leakage proof socket. The drug storage function needs to be configured with an appropriate number of shelves, and required to be replaced with the shelf for chromatography. Columns and clamps used in chromatography shall be remove or not affect the shelf keeping of drug storage.
