Vacuum System Performance Validation Of Vacuum Freeze Dryer
(1) Confirmation Of Vacuum Mercury Withdrawal Rate
The vacuum system of as typical vacuum freeze dryer is composed of two oil rotary vacuum mercury and a mechanical pressure mercury. The pumping rate in system theory can usually be found on the equipment nameplate. The pumping rate confirmation test can be carried out as follows, Record the required time that a known volume is evacuated from atmospheric pressure 10^6Pa to 133Pa, whereby the actual pumping rate is calculated. The unit is L-min.
(2) Vacuum System Performance Validation
① Single machine performance of primary vacuum mercury: The pressure in the vacuum system can be reduced from 10^6Pa to below 6.7Pa within 10min after the no-load operation. The vacuum mercury used in the experiment should be new oil.
② Primary vacuum mercury + vacuum performance of pressurized vacuum mercury: The pressure in the vacuum system can be up to 1.33Pa in the no-load condition after the pressurized mercury is operating for 5min.
③ No-load limit pressure of vacuum system: The initial pumping rate should make the pressure of vacuum system below 13.3Pa in 20min. The system pressure shall be below 1.33Pa in six hours.
