   The evaporator of a direct expansion chiller is called a direct expansion evaporator (a dry evaporator). It has a definite amount of heat at the outlet and is usually measured with a thermal expansion valve. Direct expansion chiller can be a a small capacity chiller, in some of the order models of units, can also be about 150 tons of cold. The direct expansion chiller feeds the refrigerant from one end of cooling cylinder and at the same time feeds water at one end of the shell. The water is positioned outside the refrigerant pipe, and the deflector can contract water with as many heat transfer pipes as possible so as to obtain the best heat exchange effect. The possible problem with this structure is that if the water side of the pipe is dirty and silted up, the only way to clean it is to use chemicals. Because the cooler can not clean with the a brush, it is circulating in the pipe with water. The refrigerant circulating outside the pipe is the largest characteristic of the outflow chiller.
