Slice ice machine is a kind of ice makers, which is also called flake shape ice machine. Classify by water source, it can be classified into fresh water slice ice machine and sea water slice ice machine. Slice ice is lamellar, dry, loose and white ice. The thickness of slice ice ranges from 1.0 mm to 2.5mm. The shape of slice surface is irregular and the diameter is about 12 to 45 mm. Slice ice does not have sharp edges, so it can not stab and wound frozen objects. The slice ice can get into the space between frozen objects, reduce heating exchange, keep the ice cold and have good moisturizing effect. The refrigeration effect of slice ice is excellent and the refrigerating capacity is large and rapid. So it is mainly applied in various large-scale refrigeration facilities, food freezing, concrete cooling, etc.
